Abstractive Summary / Medical Document Formatting Project

The Project ( is a leading provider of training data services for artificial intelligence applications.  We currently are looking for highly experienced medical language specialists to assist in a novel abstractive summary / medical document formatting project.  This project will initially last three months but may expand into twelve-months

Project Description

You will listen to an anonymized exam room conversation between a doctor and patient.  You will use the written transcript of the conversation and the audio recording to create an Office Visit note that captures all relevant information needed to document the patient visit.   


Candidates need to meet the following qualifications:
1. At least five years’ e
xperience as medical language specialists.  
2. Extensive exposure to medical terminology. 
3. Fluent knowledge of the type of medical content that resides within the sections and subsections of clinical documentation

4. Strong English language writing and editing skills. 
5. Ability to differentiate between relevant and non-relevant conversational content as found within recorded doctor-patient conversations. 


How You'll Process the Work

This is an internet-based, work-from-home project.  You will log into our website to process the files.  A well-equipped computer with audio capabilities and a strong, reliable internet connection are required.

Pay Rate

Pay rate is $15 - 17 per hour (based on experience and accuracy).  Payment is made weekly via an online pay service.  We pay via Paypal, Venmo, Wise and Payoneer. 

Work Hours

Work when you want, day or night.  There is no limit to the number of reports you can process.  Three hours daily is the expected minimum work hours.  Editors are required to attend two short check-in meetings via Zoom, Mondays and Thursdays at 9AM EST.

Project Duration

Important: This is an independent contractor, side hustle opportunity of fixed duration with no guarantee of on-going employment following the completion of the project.  


Initial phase of project commences in one week (end of February) and ends mid-May.  Client may elect to extend project through end of 2023, but that is not guaranteed and should not be a condition of accepting the position.
